/ about THE EVENT
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate in UNCW's First-Ever International Dessert Competition.
Participants will compete individually and/or in teams of three to prepare a winning concoction to be judged in the International Dessert Competition. Local community members will judge the entries, with prizes provided by the Department of World Languages and Cultures.
The public is invited to attend and sample entry desserts from around the world, while learning about its preparation and the cultural background behind it.

All interested participants in the competition must read and agree to the terms and conditions of this event. Please make sure to do so before registering to the event.

All UNCW undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff are eligible to enter (individually or as a group of 3) by this date.

10 a.m.
Entries must be delivered to Long Leaf Park, Shelter #5. One piece or slide of the dessert must be kept separately for judges (e.g. kept in a different container)
10:30 a.m.
Judging begins. Public tasting and demonstrations will begin right after at 11 a.m.
1 p.m.
Awards ceremony.
